Zheng joined the UN Security Council when he was elected leader of the Oriental Provinces under UN control. Zheng's wife was killed in the Battle for Earth, as was his son Ango. Zheng voted against the plan to detonate Earth with a NOVA nuclear bomb, but was overuled when the majority voted for it. He stayed with the UN until after Operation EXODUS, when he left to lead a new faction called AEON. Zheng is the Head Councilman and Commander of the Military.
