Sagaya was a Nerazim warrior of the Daelaam. He served in the One-Day War. In the early stages of the conflict, Sagaya was chief ground-force commander for the Daelaam forces on Gystt. When his forced moved to the second adostra nest, they were ambushed by a large zerg brood under the control of the chitha. Though support came in from Terran Dominion forces under Colonel Abram Cruikshank, the zerg tide was still too substantial. Sagaya ordered a nearby disruptor be detonated, which destroyed both the zerg attackers and the adostra nest. Sagaya was killed in the conflict, and only three of his warriors survived. His second in command, Commander Rahas, replaced him.
