The New Purple Gang are the updated version of an old gang from Champions Online known simply as the Purple Gang - they range from old 20s era inspired gangsters to more common street-thugs and are named after their chosen uniform color. The New Purple Gang are amongst the first enemies the player-hero will face after entering Milennium City and are especially prominent in Westside, where they plan on taking over via terrorizing local business and citizens alike.
