The 29th Caspian Navy Interception Squadron, nicknamed the Banshees, is a Naval Aerospace Arm unit within the Home Fleet Group. The Banshees actually got their name from their days of operating the Dodonna-Blissex RZ-1 A-Wing. In order to be ready "at a moment's notice", flight crews would remove the otherwise retractable covers over the missile launch ports at the leading edge of the interceptor's lifting body. While flying through atmosphere at high speed, this resulted in a wailing sound that ground personnel associated to the squadron racing off on a mission of urgency. Later, when the squadron transitioned to Z-110 Hellions, the squadron handlers actually installed siren-cylinders in the fuselage to recreate that trademark wailing sound.
