The origins of Neo Scary Godmother begin with Tommy Dickles and his cousin Tommy Pickles plotting to steal Angelica's sun glasses while she is sunbathing. As Tommy Pickles was tasked to go distract Angelica, he discovers a penny in the street at attempts to take it with the ambition of being wealthier than Chucky. The penny is stuck to the street with gum and Tommy Pickles is run over and obliterated by a passing by truck. Angelica reacts to the noise of the truck and Tommy Dickles is able to take her glasses for himself. However, Stu Pickles comes outside and mistakes Tommy Dickles for his son and is under the pretense that the other Tommy's parents had come to pick him up already.
