Sooty, Sweep, and Soo want a pet but cannot decide what to get. Sweep suggests a dog, which sparks one question - when they get the new dog, what will they do with the old one? Matthew is only joking but Sweep is keen to be trained. Later, Matthew takes them to see some police dogs being trained.
