Dr Rupert Read is the lead candidate in the Eastern Region for the Green Party of England and Wales for the European Parliament elections in 2009, Reader in philosophy at the University of East Anglia and Green Party city councillor in Norwich. He makes regular appearances in the local and national press, speaking out on green issues - most notably on sustainable transport, green economics and social justice.
