JCPenney was a department store located in Twin Pines Mall. It could be seen from the parking lot where the world's first temporal displacement occurred. In 1986, Emmett Brown hadn't been seen for months. Worried about his friend, Marty McFly had a dream of the temporal displacement experiment, but everything was distorted. In his dream, the store appeared under the name of JPPinney.
