Within this book is the tale of Rederick the Crimson, a northern barbarian of Bloodfall, who was said to have always been covered in blood, usually a mixture of his own and some powerful beast or dragon. It is a charming tale of love, war and epic daring. The ending is rather morbid, however, where Rederic commits a horrific axe murder of an entire community on a whim.
