The Carcassa Famiglia is mentioned as not being able to come and join all the other Famiglias at Mafia Land because they deal in drug trafficking and other deplorable activities. This leads them to contract the Arcobaleno Skull, the holder of the Cloud Pacifier and a strategist, to wage war on the Island. Their entire fleet of battleships is destroyed, however, by Colonnello's rifle. During the Arcobaleno Trials Arc in the anime, Skull mentions that he has to return to the Carcassa Famiglia, implying that he joined that Famiglia after the incident in Mafia Land.
