Born 30 January 1923 died 24 May 1991. Labour Party member of the London County Council elected 1952-65 for Kensington North. Also a co-opted member of the Inner London Education Authority 1970-77, and an alderman on Kensington and Chelsea Royal Borough Council 1971-77. He was awarded the OBE in 1987.
