Tigh Gorslum was a member of the Rebel Alliance and a military engineer. Hailing from the planet Alderaan, he joined the Rebellion at a very young age. He was an engineer aboard the consular ship Tantive IV, which Leia Organa traveled often by. Because of this, his position, the twin turret, was particulary important for him. This he had to adjust, check and release in combat. However, in 0 BBY, stormtroopers boarded the ship, although Gorslum had tried to stop the approaching Star Destroyer. After the battle, he was discharged and taken away by stormtroopers.
