Samuel "Sam" Lawton is the protagonist of Final Destination 5, and the visionary of the North Bay Bridge collapse. Sam is one of the many members of Presage Paper to survive the collapse. He is the boyfriend of Molly Harper, and the best friend of and subordinate to Peter Friedkin. Sam was the seventh survivor of the bridge collapse to die.
