A miracle chest is a special treasure chest that appears only in towns Dark Cloud and Dark Cloud 2 In the former they contain uncommon but valuable items, in the latter they contain very valuable items that can increase one's health or defense permanently. In the case of the latter these are Potato Pie, Witch Parfait and Fruit of Eden, the first of which raise the defense of respectively Maximilian and Monica by four, the latter raises either's hit points by eight. In Dark Cloud 2 miracle chests are unlocked after completing a level in a dungeon, and appear in either a town area or the future.
