Lexe was a star system located in Federation space in the Alpha or the Beta Quadrant, at coordinates 7.80S 2.40E. It was home to a number of planets, though none of them were Class M. The fourth planet was Laxala, formerly an Orion colony, and later a privately owned Federation world. The system was rich in valuable minerals, with Laxala and two other planets, and eleven moons, all being mined in the late 23rd century.
