James McGrath is an American actor who portrayed Vice Admiral Resdox in Star Wars Episode VII The Force Awakens. In the end credits, he was credited as "Jim McGrath." McGrath is the father-in-law of J.J. Abrams, and had also made cameo appearances in Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness.
