Konagamana Buddha is one of the Buddha in the present kalpa. He is the second of the Buddha. In Burma (or Myanmar) Konagamana is called Konagon or Konagamanan. According to Burmese mythology, he was born on Wednesday, because of this Konagamana is placed on the Wednesday pedestal.
