The Thain's Book is an online "Encyclopedia of Middle-earth and Númenor." It contains much information about Middle-earth and Númenor. There are 1,427 entries for characters, objects, buildings, sculptures, lands, family trees, and times in Middle-earth. It is complete with 5 indexes: people, places, things, events, and creatures. There is a full alphabetical index as well. Lastly, there is a full chronology page for all events.
