The Chicago Hitmen were a Junior A Tier II ice hockey team based out of Rolling Meadows, Illinois. The Hitmen played in the North American Hockey League's Midwest Division from 2010-2012. The team first played in the 1,000 seat West Meadows Ice Arena. But they finished in the Fox Valley Ice Arena On June 4th, 2010 the team announced that Steve Pronger was signed as head coach, Pronger comes to the Hitmen after serving as the head coach of the Chicago Blaze of the AAHL. The Hitmen will not compete in the NAHL in the 2012-2013 season
