Woofer is a mundane dog, a large mongrel with dark fur. He was the pet of Sean Baldwin who gained almost human intelligence while in Xanth the first time. He and the Baldwin family helped save Xanth from overexposure of magic dust by containing Happy Bottom after being stranded there.
