Flowers reproduce when the pollen (microgametophytes) reaches the pistil of another flower. This is called pollination.Animal life cycles have meiosis followed immediately by gametogenesis. Gametes are produced directly by meiosis. Male gametes are sperm. Female gametes are eggs or ova.
