Ferdinand the Bull is an animated short based on the 1936 storybook, The Story of Ferdinand. It was released on November 25, 1938. It was directed by Dick Rickard and based on the book, The Story of Ferdinand by Munro Leaf. It is sometimes considered to be a Silly Symphonies cartoon.
