Latt was the third planet in the Demar system. By the Battle of Yavin, it had been reduced to a nearly barren rock by the Lant Mining Corporation. A few workers had remained on the planet to seal the deep mine shafts and salvage the leftover mining equipment and buildings. Latt had one moon.
