In 1999, after the sucess of Rocko's Modern Life, Nickelodeon allowed Dan Povenmire and his husband, Jeff Povenmire, to make a cartoon on the then-popular Oh No! Cartoons series. The series, named Phineas and Ferb, ran for 10 episodes before it became a full show. Plot: Phineas and Ferb build a giant doghouse for their pet dog, Joey. Agent Attack! Plot: After their pet Joey dies, Phineas and Ferb decide to get a new pet, named Perry the Platypus.
