Chris was a member of the Flight Fandangoes darts team and the manager of a tournament which took place at the Rovers Return Inn in February 2009. He recorded the scores of all the darts players. When Eddie Windass, who was posing as a professional, tried to pull off a scam and threw poorly, Chris recognised him from another scam where he had used a fake name. Eddie darted out of the pub and Chris and the other darts players chased after him. Eddie's partner Anna called a truce with Chris by paying him the money he was owed.
