Cerebrex were small hand held Mutant detection devices that were designed through the use of former Sentinel technology and were capable of trackign targets up to a three miles in range. After the events of M-Day, former members of the X-Men had joined the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants which prompted Cyclops in giving a Cerebrex unit to Rockslide and Ink in order for them to find Moonstar.
