The Battle of Yaris IV is one of many battles during the Thak'Lete Campaign during the Doisac War. The Thak'Lete Campaign was a year-long counter-attack made by the Imperial Armed Forces of the Neo-Covenant to re-take the territory lost in the last five years. Yaris IV was just one of the many battles that occurred but due to the high volume of the attacks was one of the last to be relieved by the UNSC Defence Forces.
