Ruka-Hvantanje were not seen when the C-Virus was spread around Edonia in 2013. They were first encountered by Ada Wong in mid-2014 on board a Neo-Umbrella controlled submarine. They were later seen in the Chinese city of Waiyip, Lanshiang by the BSAA.
