The Dragon Newt is an enemy found on planet Lemuris in Star Ocean: The Last Hope. It is probably the toughest enemy found on Lemuris, appearing as a mini-boss at the Alanaire Citadel. It can use Symbology and counter blindsides. Dragon Newts are actually Cardianon suffering from genetic regression, and are considered superior to the Lizardmen most Cardianon morph into.
