Type:URL is a built-in datatype of Semantic MediaWiki. It accepts almost any string and interprets it as a URL. The URL appears as a link in text and the factbox. Note: MediaWiki will display a property of Type:String that starts with http:// as a hyperlink, but strings and URLs have different semantics in RDF export.
