The infamous Sword of Damocles is preserved in the chamber, under Astarte's guard. One of the most known incidents that took place in the Chamber was the confrontation between Layla and Astarte during Mathayus's quest to acclaim the Sword. Astarte unleashed the Gates of Hell on Layla but was distracted by Mathayus, in the meantime Fung and Ari sneaked off with the Sword of Damocles. The Chamber is also inhabited by Astarte's Demons.
