The Kalkaska Rhinos are a junior ice hockey team from Kalkaska, Michigan. The team is a member of the United States Premier Hockey League. The team is based out of The Kaliseum. The team began play with the 2014-15 season. They played in the Canadian International Hockey League for part of the 2014-15 season. They were added to the league in November after several teams withdrew to form the World United Hockey League. The team would withdraw from the league on February 6, 2015 to become and independent team for the balance of the season. The team had stated that it had put in an application to join another league for the 2015-16 season. The team would end up in the newly formed USPHL Midwest Division along with the membership of the Midwest Junior Hockey League and the majority of the memb
