The Thrawn-class Star Destroyer was a Star Destroyer variant created during the Thrawn Crisis in honor of Grand Admiral Thrawn. Although only a small number were ever built, just one could inspire fear into any New Republic pilot. 200m bigger than the regular Imperial-class Star Destroyer and boasting an astonishing array of weapons, this cruiser type could destroy a Mon Calamari Liberty-type cruiser with ease. The two known Thrawn-class vessels to be built were the Punisher and the Apocalypse. The Punisher served as Darth Karnos's command vessel and the captured Apocalypse (renamed Republic) helped in the downfall of Warlord Tuell and the One Sith.
