Rune priests are masters of fire and rune magic. When a dwarf dies, they bring his body to a volcano to ensure that his soul becomes one with the flames. Dwarven children born with gold-flecked eyes are thought to have been blessed by Arkath himself, and are systematically taken for the priesthood, regardless of what clan they were born in. Dwarves who are going through strong emotions, like passion, love, or anger, sometimes experience their hair and beard going up in flames. Due to their magical abilities, the hair of a rune priest may instead become a cloud of sparks.
