The player controls the Drifter, a character that has access to technology long forgotten by the inhabitants of the world, but due to a disease he is forced to search through the landscape and face difficult monsters. The storyline and gameplay have been likened to Diablo III and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past by the lead developer.
