The bears were ruled by the benevolent and heroic Princess Paw Paw (Susan Blu), aided by her flying horse and an enchanted totem. The series' main villain, Dark Paw (Stanley Ralph Ross), was continually plotting to conquer the Paw Paws' village, from which he had been exiled.
