Chief Petty Officer Connor-161 was a SPARTAN-II Class-II supersoldier who served in the Human-Covenant War. During the war, he was assigned as the leader of Azure Team, a three man team consisting of Jacob-184 and Elijah-243. Having fought in many battles during the latter half of the war, he was eventually recruited by the Office of Naval Intelligence to test the recently developed MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor/Hayabusa, using it with brutal efficiency during the Battle of Earth, fighting Covenant forces in several of Earth's major cities. During the later half of the battle, he was separated from his unit when the Flood crash landed on the planet.
