in Gentoo Linux you need to add IMAP to the USE variable in the make.conf, to get IMAP to work in Sylpheed mail client * libetpan is required * emerge libetpan * Edit /etc/make.conf * Add imap to USE="....." if you don't have USE in you make.conf, add a line USE="imap" This works with Sylpheed and Sylpheed-claws
