The Starfleet Exploratory Division was an agency in the 24th century Starfleet. As the name suggests, it was the division in charge of exploration. This agency was named on the dedication plaques of Miranda-class and Nebula-class starships. Admiral Marvin Rush was noted for his work with the Exploratory Division on the USS Brattain on stardate 22519.5. (TNG: "Night Terrors" , dedication plaque)
