Waroon was an ingredient used in cooking food. In 2370, waroon was an ingredient in a stew cooked by Gideon Seyetik for the senior staff of Deep Space 9. After slices of waroon were roasted, slightly seared Kalo roots were layered over the waroon. The recipe took years to perfect, and Chief O'Brien wanted a copy. (DS9: "Second Sight")
