This item provides a Magic bonus of 4, giving it the highest Magic bonus of any headgear in the game, slightly higher than that of the Santa hat, black wizard hat or gnome hats which all give a bonus of 3. This item can also be obtained as a drop from Wizards wearing blue clothing, and can be purchased from the Fancy Store Owner in south-eastern Varrock.
