Pale Flare is a darkness-elemental Great Magic spell, featured in Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria. It can be cast by any Sorcerer, independently of his innate element, during a Soul Crush sequence, provided he has the Wand of Apocalypse equipped. As all Great Magic spells, it is multi-target, even though its animation is only shown to target one enemy. It can also be used by Gabriel Celeste. Pale Flare deals many hits and adds a good deal of energy to the Gauge. It is thus best used second in a Soul Crush sequence, to help maximize the damage of later attacks.
