A hostage situation at the Balkans sees all the hostages killed and the SEAL team being blamed for their deaths. Mac and Bud are given the task of defending the SEAL team commander at his court-martial but the commander is weary of Bud's lack of experience as a JAG lawyer. Meanwhile, on mandatory leave and with Harm Acting JAG, Chegwidden gets roped into becoming a technical advisor for a movie but things don't go too well when he regularly clashes with the movie's director.
