Chili con carne (also known simply as chili) was a spicy dish from Earth, made primarily of beef, chili peppers, onions, beans, and tomatoes. In 1957, the Pine Tree Bar and Grill in Carbon Creek, Pennsylvania, served chili burgers in its bar and diner. (ENT: "Carbon Creek") Chili was used in burritos on Earth during the 20th century. (VOY: "Future's End, Part II") In 2374, Neelix made Rodeo Red's Red-Hot, Rootin'-Tootin' Chili, although he thought he used too many jalapeños when two eaters of the chili came down with acute functional dyspepsia. (VOY: "Message in a Bottle")
