Sir Tydus Moorheim, revered knight and Lord of Tarloc, was a significant figure in the history of Tarloc. It is believed that he stood against the hordes of the Blazeridge Mountains to prevent them from overrunning the lowlands and - while it is considered unknown (there are conflicting stories and evidence) whether he stood singlehandedly against them or had a small army at his back - he is considered one of the great knights of the period despite succumbing to wounds taken within the battle. Many parallels exist in the final tale of Sir Tydus Moorheim and his northern counterpart, Kalldor Sarwick. Both men are believed to have stood alone in the face of unsurmountable odds and there is evidence to both prove and refute these claims.
