Valhoun's Vultures was an infamous special tactics squad of the Galactic Republic that operated by the time of the Cold War. In that time, it was led by Commander Valhoun and waged many successful engagements against the Sith Empire over the years. They blew up an ammo supply and wiped out an entire Imperial Battalion on Alderaan. They also sabotaged an Imperial shipyard near Elom. During the Invasion of Taris, they were deployed on Taris to combat the Imperial Military presence on the planet where they were stationed near the Hidden Bek speedrail in the Tularan Marsh.
