The Kysa-class battleship (Ingzan: Kysa-krás batarosép, Bregaran: Kysa-kraaz zayaker) was a battleship based on the Pellaeon-class star destroyer and was the first Star Destroyer-type ship to enter service with the Imperial Navy, though the Ingza and Bregaro had built ships which looked somewhat similar to star destroyers before. The Imperial Purchasing Committee bought designs plans and a licence to build the Pellaeon-class from Kuat Drive Yards shortly after the Ingza and Bregaran opened relations with the Galactic Federation of Sentient Species in 1,023 ABY, by which time the Pellaeon-class was merely history from long ago to the Coruscant Galaxy.
