Search for Harper Dearing is a wide-scale manhunt that NCIS began in May 2012 with the main objective being to find and arrest businessman-turned-terrorist Harper Dearing who was launching a series of attacks against Navy ships. Following the Navy Yard Bombing a few days later, the FBI joined the hunt with the search leading up to the Stand-Off Between Gibbs and Harper Dearing.
