Ark Hammer was a large warship used by the Tripartite Empire around 175 ABY. When Chairman of the Senate of the Galactic Federation Suvorov Palpatine and Jedi Padawan Ruslana Solo were captured, they were held aboard the vessel as prisoners, though they managed to break out. In the process, Suvorov got Solo to join the Dark Side of the Force. Later, when he revealed his Sith background and took complete control of the Galactic Federation Triumvirate, he got the last remaining leader of the Tripartite Empire to merge with Suvorov's reformed Federation, the New Dark Empire. When that happened, the Ark Hammer became one of the Imperial Navy's best vessels.
