Dr. Gari-Gari was the gunner of a timeship that needed Kevin Keene's Power Pad and Zapper to power it. He attacked Kevin, Link, and Pero with bombs, torpedoes, and heat-seeking missiles as he and Count Gruemon chased them through time, then sent his pet python after them and sealed the warp back to Pero's own time when they encountered the three companions in his world's version of New York City. He grabbed hold of Gruemon as Pero flew away in the stolen timeship, standing beside Gruemon and watching as Pero ran off into the desert.
